Suede and nobuk shoes

As they are delicate materials, special care should be taken with dust and possible stains to be able to remove as much as possible before delivering the product. It is best to use special brushes for suede and follow the direction of the hair, never the other way around, because otherwise the product will be damaged. If during the manufacturing process of the footwear, for any reason (whether it is the use of industrial glues or some unforeseen) it has been possible to stain slightly, the best option is to use an eraser. The normal thing is that this generates remains, so we will have to remove them with the brush. It is important to apply a protective waterproofing spray, as well as recommend its use to the customer.

Split leather shoes

It is essential to understand the composition of this material. This is much coarser and has received a treatment to get that touch, getting extra resistance. However, that should not deceive us, as it still requires care and cannot be treated lightly. 

Consequently, a good brushing will be necessary to be in optimal condition when delivering it to customers. If in the creation process it has been possible to stain with any fat, the use of talcum powder is effective. As in the previous case, the use of a protective spray is a great idea.

Patent leather shoes

The “mirror” shoe. A well-cared patent leather will be a reflection of light for the customer, so it is one of the shoes that you need to spend more time before making the delivery.

Clean well from any dust with a damp cloth with water and a little soap. Once it has dried, moisturizer or special wax is applied for this product, but in no case you have to resort to home products: it is best to trust professional brands. Finally, it is rubbed with a dry cloth, either cotton or suede to give them a perfect shine.

Shoes made of esparto and natural fibres

The great forgotten, although in recent years due to fashion trends is gaining strength. Natural materials of plant origin are delicate, so a good treatment before and after (by the customer) is almost obligatory. In addition, it is recommended to follow certain tips: 

• Keep away from water or moisture.

• In case of stains, talcum powder can be sprinkled allowing it to act for a time to absorb fat.

• Use a brush and microfiber cloth for espadrilles.

• Or, if wet, never let it dry in full sun.

Leather shoes

The preferred material par excellence: leather is the king of shoes. If knowing how to work it is all an art, giving the set-up is no less. 

To properly clean the leather, we first have to remove all dirt and dust it may have with a damp cloth or with a brush with soft bristles, special for this type of material. Afterwards, apply bitumen, preferably the color of the shoe. In case of not getting, we can always opt for a colorless one and wait for it to dry properly. Finally, we will remove the leftover with a special brush for polishing shoes with soft bristles and, for a glossy finish, it can be cleaned with a soft dry rag. 

In addition, it is important to nourish the shoes, since, if we do not, they will lose their characteristics. For this we will moisturize the leather with a special moisturizer, in order to avoid cracks.
